The London’s Wimbledon Club is among the leading multi sports Club in London with isolated sections for tennis, squash, cricket and men's and ladies' hockey. The Club provides a chummy, welcoming atmosphere, with a vibrant social scene. Members relish regular social nights, including quizzes, wine tasting, evenings to the Wimbledon theatre, a Christmas pantomime, sports section discos and dances, inter-section sports days, plus the finals' days for tennis and squash and the annual Club Ball. The London’s Wimbledon Club facilities include a 1 grass hockey pitches, 8 grass tennis courts, 7 hard courts (4 floodlit), 9 acre site off Church Road, with a cricket pitch and practice nets, 5 squash courts (4 glass backed), an indoor sports hall which is used for tennis and cricket practice, and a fitness suite. Under long-term lease arrangements the Club acquired 2 astro turf hockey pitches from King's College School grounds in Raynes Park. The Club has ample parking for all members. A new Club house there has a first floor bar and restaurant with balconies overlooking the tennis courts and cricket / hockey pitches. There are large changing rooms and showers, plus a mixed sauna. Members can sit out on a summer's day and unwind with a drink and a meal, overlooking the famous spire of St. Mary's church whilst dinghies sail past on Wimbledon Park Lake.
